Ponygirls have Equine parts where?

Ponygirls have Equine parts where?

Muzzle - The front part of an Equine face including the nostrils, mouth, lips and chin. The area between the nostrils is a favorite place for this trainer to kiss and
nuzzle with your hand or lips.

Forelock - May also be called bangs. This is the hair that falls into the face and sometimes down to the muzzle.

Mane - Hair located behind the ears on an Equine.

Crest - The C shape in the neck.

Withers - This is the bottom of the neck where the shoulders begin. This is the highest area above the shoulder of a pony on all fours.

Chest - Also known as Breasts. Many will pat a good equine on its chest to show they are being good or to calm them. Usually, they are patted right in the center, between the front legs of an equine on all fours.

Belly - The forward most part of the torso, below or behind the rib cage.

Dock - This is the stiff part of an Equine tail that the tail hair attaches to. This
is the part to be lifted to put in a brace or work in a tail harness. Care needs to
be taken with the underside of the dock. The top and sides have hair but the bottom
is hairless and can become irritated unless kept clean.

Tail - The longer multicolored part of the tail that hangs down and can be combed. The tail is used to flick insects off the equine so they are relatively bug-free. Flies are the persistent pest of all equine.

Croup - Lower curve of the back.

Haunch - Fleshy part of the upper thigh; some may call it the butt.

Thigh - This is the area from the Haunches to the knee.

Pastern - this is the curve just above the fetlock. Some may refer to this as an ankle.

Fetlock - Like the heel of your foot it juts out and on an equine there is a tuft of hair here by which you can pull to lift a horses foot.

Coronet - Band of hoof just under the hair but at the very top of the hoof along the hoof wall. This often shows the health of the equines foot.

Hoof - the large part of the foot that the pony walks on and has shoes shod onto them.
