About Miss Hyun

Thank you for your interest in Stable Mistress Atheena Hyun being a trainer for you or your equine.

I came to share my Second Life with you because a wonderful friend persisted until I tried it. Thanks Berlin and Michael!

I had suffered a series of injuries and events which have, at least for the time being, prevented me from doing much with my first life. I am grateful to find a place I can live and love where I am a whole person again. My first life I have spent with horses, my artwork, computer games (started in 1997), some scripting for games(started in 1997), as well as a lifetime with horses.

My family worked hard with our own animals as well as the animals that owners brought to us to train, so they could fulfill the lives of their owners in a happy and contented way.

I may seem very strange to some of you who have been around a long time, as I only know what was handed down to me by my family. It is my goal to help you with your goals and ambitions as well. As your Stable Mistress, you may expect me to provide you with the service you need to make your relationship with your favorite equine as happy and contented as possible.

I am a third generation of horse trainers IRL. My father and his father before him broke and trained for the people of our area. It was a lifetime spent being with the animals every day all year round. My family learned by necessity how to train all varieties of Equine in our North Carolina home, located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in the USA. It is this real lifetime experience that I hope will give you a bit of adventure.

When ever I would return home to visit my family, friends would have their horses waiting in the barn for me to ride with a note at my dads letting me know of any issues they may have. They always had issues ehehehe, but they knew me, they knew that I would want to ride, and that issues were always ok. This is me on a 3 year old quarter mare, who liked to buck while she ran. After a few hours, she was happily galloping along with no hint of wanting to buck.

I have worked with all kinds of Equine in my life:

Workhorses - trained to harness work pulling logs, plow, sled, cart, carriage, or wagon.

Show horses - trained strictly for looking good, holding their paces in the show ring, as well as knowing the steps and the speeds that best show off each distinctively and proudly.

Riding horses - trained in maneuvering over all terrains and adjusting to various climates and various riders.

Saddle horses - racking, walking, pacing and racing.

Now I am helping Miss Button with the running and workings of the farm as well as working with training in Dressage, steeplechase, slalom,harness work with carts and races. I am also coming up with some new surprises to really test yourselfs. Some of these I am already starting to teach!

My work at the farm is new to me, and neither my father nor his father has ever done the type of work I am now involved in. I am very happy to be working with everyone at the FFF Stable.
